Why did you want to be reinstated?
by Had Enough infirst off, i apologize if this subject has been hashed out before or even lately...i haven't noticed it if it has, but i need to ask it now, as it affects my family as i'm sure it does now, or has in the past, affected many of you here.. i have a daughter who is a very active jw, and a very typical one.
if the wts says it, it has to be so...or if she doesn't down deep agree with it, then god will eventually fix it, but for the time being she is supposed to go along with it....etc.
etc.. this is how she feels about df'ing, da'ing and the resulting shunning..even of a close family member, like her brother whom she adores.

Eyewitness Details of the Ritzville trial by Ros
by Had Enough inif i understand it, the defendant had been asked the question (words to this effect): "if you were asked in court whether you are guilty or innocent, what would be your answer?
trial including why the verdict was thrown out--if i understand it.

Children Removed from Family over Discipline..
by Had Enough inhi folks:.
just thought i'd post this newspaper article about an ongoing battle with a religious group that is quite prevelant in sw ontario, canada called the church of god, a somewhat moderized mennonite group started in 1881.. a family's 7 children have been taken away by the children's aid society over the issue of spanking.
this group upholds the bible's "spare the rod, spoil the child" rule to the point of using actual sticks, belts, switches etc and express that pain has to be felt to instill respect for discipline.

Do You Think WTS Reacts to Internet Info?
by Had Enough inwhile i was an active jw, i remember so often that whenever we had a question that couldn't be answered, we would hear: "just wait a little bit and you can be sure it will be brought out in an article soon.
" and sure enough, it happened just like that, time and time again.. my topic title question has been rolling around in my head ever since hearing the talks and the drama dialogue as i posted earlier on the topic "dc subtle propaganda".. the wts obviously knows many of its members are lurking here and other sites, and their lies are getting more exposure than ever before, and i feel as though the org is keeping tabs on these sites.
many here have been telling their experiences and life stories revealing many skeletons from the wts closet, openly criticizing the attitudes and harsh actions of the org.. these are just a few of the phrases hammered at repeatedly as reminders at the dc this past weekend:.

Subtle Propaganda at DC -but Noticeable To Us
by Had Enough inas ive mentioned in other posts, i felt obligated to go to the dc (in hamilton) this weekend to help my family with my aging mom, who in my opinion just goes for the social outing because she is physically not able to stay awake for more that 1/5 th of the whole sessions except intermissions.. i know others have posted their observations of the dc they attended but id like to make an addition from things that just jumped right out at me and made me go argggghhhhh!.
and btw....i felt some of the comments made seemed to be as though they were answering their justification of some of the things being brought out on the internet, including here.. on friday, even in talks that were not about higher education, they managed to slip in their subtle propaganda, as in:.
- bob alton, said peter and john were outspoken about gods word and were unlettered and ordinary men they didnt need higher education to speak wondrous things of god.

on a previous post i read in the past couple of days, someone asked if there was any other sites posting info on the mexico/malawi fiasco as told to us in the c of c book.
i can't find that post to see if anyone answered it, and i have looked at the few other sites like freeminds and watchtower observer for any info but couldn't find any.. does anyone know of any references, either here or at other sites, to this subject?.

Southern Baptist View of Women-Too Funny!!
by Had Enough ini found these sites posted on h20 this morning.
from what i can see this site is no joke... thought you'd all get a kick out of it...and we thought the wts's view of women can be suppressive.. womens role in the bible quiz.

WT website-shunning-Where is it????
by Had Enough ini, along with many others here, saw on the wt official website, in the faqs section, their answer to the question "do jw's shun former memebers?"..
we've posted many comments on their response on various threads, such as on qwerty's topic "wt-faq on shunning--" just yesterday.. this morning i went to that site to copy it, and it seems to be gone....unless i'm not awake yet.. is it gone or did i somehow miss it?.
also....i did a 'search' on their official site, on the word "shunning" ... result was "no results" so i changed it to "disfellowshipping" and the article on "child custody" came back as the only reference.

To ZazuWitts-re:W81 Shunning articles
by Had Enough inhi zazuwitts:.
you asked, on hesterprynes' thread on "questions to shunned ones", if anyone had the article in w81 september 15, on shunning da'd and df'd ones.. i anwered you back that i do have the 2 articles in the w81, 9/15 if you would like me to post them (they total 8 pages) the first is on "df'ing and da'ing-how to view it", and the second is "if a relative is df'd".. i was made very familiar with them at the suggestion of an elder, when my son was da'd a few years ago.
didn't do me any good though.
